Awesome food, good selection and friendly staff. You can ask for tasting glasses with your beer.

I went here years ago with my sister back when this was one of the few beer oriented places in Montreal. A great atmosphere, excellent food and decent service though not super expert or anything. At the time they had a wide variety of beers though now many places in town have caught up. Overall, I think it is still worth a visit if you happen to be in the area.

we used to go there for beers 15 years ago, but in that time so many better places have opened in montreal with better beer options. though we DO return frequently for the mussels. there’s something like 20 different styles they serve mussels. very good frites and sauces, too.

This place has amazing food, an above average selection of beer (bottles, only 4 on tap when I went), and excellent service. The only problem is that it is very expensive. If you don’t mind spending 50 or so a person for a great meal and a couple beers then there is really no better place to go in the area.

really enjoyed this place, but it’s very expensive to drink. the food was very good, and quite the extensive beer menu. problem is that it’s way overpriced. 12 bucks for a 341ml bottle of La Trappe dubbel.

This former bank has an inviting mood for those who want to discover new beers with - or without - friends. The only ’yikes’ is that their pub identity doesn’t match with the absence of cathodic screens, no sports to cheer with. Anyways, their main weaknesses is the poor service, as you have to wait a long time for the waiter if you don’t want to seek for them, and the ’Oh-my-goddish’ prices. Example: most of the belgian beers (330ml) = nearly 10$ CAD = 6 euros = very expensive. But, they have plenty of beers, even with their own menu and not a small one. The food is just decent, but also pricey. Don’t go there if you just feel like eating a steak. Final mark: I’ll go there only if the other places nearby are closed.

Ambiance is chill. Can be loudy. Beer selection is good but a bit expansive.A great place to try in Montreal.
