Good spot - I like the pub. The food is really good. The biggest problem is the low ceilings and beams - not safe for people like me!

CAMRA heritage pub, purveyor of local real ales and also known as a foodie destination because chef cooked for David Bowie. The menu is entertaining, food hit or miss (but mostly hit). We stayed at the inn--which has a lot of character being from the 13th century and original wood floors are crooked. However, it’s really old and the plumbing barely works.
