Last stop of the night, right up the way from Boxing Bear. This is a very large restaurant with about 10 house taps plus some guest taps. The brewery is next door in the same building. Lots of fermenters and a lot of barrels lying around. Guessing they’re on tap around town quite a bit because I really cant see them moving that much beer through the restaurant. Service was slow but friendly otherwise. It took a while to get a round of samplers but once that showed up everything was fine. The server was happy to give me a taste of their cask one off which was a test batch of the beer they were sending to the bacon fest. Yes, a bacon fest. Pretty cool. It’s a bourbon bacon imperial stout. Its not barrel aged, or even aged on wood chips, but they’ve added bourbon that has had bacon soaking in it. Not bad.

The beers all around were just OK. Nothing special but not bad either. For food I only tried the "southwestern poutine". With a name like that how could I pass that up? As you might expect it had fries, gravy, cheese curds, and some meat but it also had green chili, jalapenos, and oddly enough some kind of cilantro cream sauce.

Nice place but there are better breweries in town.

cool place on the northeast side of Albq. Lots of taps and bottles with their own beers as well. the beers they brew are average at best. I was less than impressed however, there is potential here. really cool place and there are plenty of other beers to drink if their beers are not very good. check this place out if your in town.

The beer was average not great. The food was good not great. $12 entres for lunch. The beer isn’t brewed on site and will be in a month or so. Perhaps we will see improvement then?

Easily one of the best new breweries in New Mexico. Finally a place in town that focuses on good food to go with good beer. Ambience is amazing and the service is top notch. You can tell they really do make all of the food from scratch. Great bar too!
