Didn’t this place close down? I liked it. Convenient location off of 80. Big restaurant. Always had good service. Beer wasn’t world class, but I brought some home on more than one occasion and always liked the food.

I drove by here a number of times on the way up to either Sacramento or Tahoe. Finally stopped in, with my brother, on the way up to see some family in Sacramento for Christmas. The pub was pretty empty in the middle of the day on Saturday. This was about the time the 10th anniversary beer came out and was supposedly very limited, so I was surprised to see that they had a whole fridge full of it. We did the taster flight but didn’t eat anything. It was not easy to flag down a server to get the pours but the guy that helped us was friendly enough. The beers were kind of boring but nothing inherently wrong with them. Prices were a bit high (so much so that I refused to buy the anniversary beer). Not sure I’d come back here, though being right on the on ramp and having lots of parking spaces available are pluses.

Nice adobe restaurant and bar. Smells of mesquite coming from the kitchen. View of the brewery from the bar area. The pizza was good, beer is decent. Nothing over the top, but they were good solid beers. My favorite was the IPA.
** They serve their beers in frosted mugs, unless you ask them for room temp glass. The waitress said they got to many complaints from the BMC drinkers when they serve in a room temp glass.

Average food, beer, average everything. They try and some of the beers are better than average. However, the Big DIPA is a junk beer and I can’t believe how much they charge for it. Last time I was there Friday night was $2 beer night (it has been a while) so for 2 bucks the beers are a lot better. Nothing special, but to the best of my knowledge, this is the only brew pub in Fairfield, or Vallejo / Benicia and the whole beer scene is pretty lame in the area. Also, unforgivable, is that they rigged a contest in one of the local brewing magazines and they won like 8 awards, including a tie for best DIPA (Big DIPA tied with Pliny the Elder). Pliny is one of the best beers ever and the Big DIPA is crap. The only reason it was a tie is that the mag realized that they had been scammed. Support local, but I really wish this was better.

wow. mediocrity of this caliber takes work. didn’t plan to come here, just ended up here and realized where i was. the food was so-so, above average pub fare, a lil better than a chilis or applebee’s, maybe. nothing wrong with it, but not memorable. cobb salad was way too salty with black olives and bacon-cheese in addition to prosciutto. staff was friendly, but not too knowledgeable about beer. which is good if you are trying to sell this beer. i had a ’broken silo’, terrible blend of their ipa, red ale and big dipa. i love to support local, so i was being really open minded too. the value was good, as the beer and food are pretty affordable with a pretty good ’recession buster’ menu and good bottle prices. this place would be great in a more rural area, but for being in the bay area, it doesn’t quite make the cut. also, there are only 3 toilets in the mens restroom, wtf? this is not nearly enough for this size of restaurant, and when you add the people drinking at the bar, oi! i am willing to give them another chance if i am in the area though.

A pretty big place with a big open kitchen - the kitchen was kind of smelly when we visited around lunch time. The service was fast and got answers to our questions directly from the brewer. 6 differing beers on tap - of them 5 were new to me. And the sampler came at 7 USD. Didn’t eat.

This pub is all around good. A couple beers are interesting. Nothing outstanding. Needs improvement but worth stopping.

I’ve been here a few times. NIce newer building that serves a variety of different foods. Yes they do serve frog legs!! Has the sampler which was slightly above average. You can also buy some of their bombers at the restaurant.
