Now this brewpub is out of business

Weird, very Russian place, kind of dark and gloomy, with lots of live TVs, and the usual cheap pop music. A bridge club added some athmosphere when we were there. The beers are OK. You can not rely on staff speaking English.

Some rather strange Russian pop on the radio provided the backdrop for my visit to Arsentich. They have three house beers - the pales are pretty good, the dunkel not so much. The prices for the beers and the bar snacks are absolutely ridiculous. Three beers and some dried fish cost over 500 rubles. It’s a nothing-special kind of place, and as much as I liked the pales I really have to say the prices left a sour taste in my mouth.
