60 A nice place with lovely home brewed beers. |
28 Beer was pretty lame as the other raters suggest, and honestly I could only tell the difference by their colors. Stopped in because you have to try a place called "Brewhouse", but their interpretation of a brew house doesn’t match mine. |
40 Funny place. A bit corporate and the beers aren’t very professional. The staff were friendly on our second visit, but on the first visit they wanted to enforce a spending minimum even though the place was mostly empty on a Friday night. Weird policy, and they really need to get the beer sorted out. For tickers only. |
30 Great location. Something about this place seems impersonal, which is strange because the service at the bar was really good. But the overall impression was that of a brewpub that does not put much heart or soul into the beers. The beers taste like afterthoughts. They also have a strange policy on a Friday night--a spending minimum of 50NIS--which is fine if they are busy but they stuck to the policy at 10:30PM when the place was practically empty. We came back another day and the beers were, to put it politely, terrible dough messes. |
60 Nice place located in one of Tel Aviv’s nice Blvd, old style decoration, with 3 OK lagers on tap. Friends say that the food is good here. |
66 Nice and cosy place, one of the better restaurants in Tel Aviv, with three homemade brews. All three not bad but not overwhelmingly good. Nevertheless a must have done when in Tel Aviv!! |
50 Small, friendly brewpub with three filtered lagers on tap, none of them exceptional but at least a step up from otherwise available beers is Israel. |
74 Visited in October 2000: A European-flavored place. Small little restaurant area on two levels. There’s also a nice bar with two huge copper tankards as the backdrop. In the European mode, they had three beers available, light, amber and dark lagers, all of which were delicious and available in 1 liter krugs. The food was great too. Like in most places in Tel Aviv, everything was in English as well as Hebrew. Definitely worth finding this hidden gem if you ever find yourself in Tel Aviv. |
