Tiny (very tiny) store that is located in a shopping center called VCUP. The store is about the size of my living room. Obviously offers a small selection considering my my kitchen has more storing space than this store. Still some pretty good Lithuanian beers to be purchased there at the usual cheap Lithuanian prices. Not worth a detour but it is only a short walk away from Alaus Namai, and since Alaus Namai is a bar you really should visit, may as well drop by Gyvo Alaus Krautuvėlė to pick up some bottles to drink at your hotel.

This is a tiny booth in the shopping centre selling mostly beers from the excellent Aukstaitija Bravoras brewery group (Butautu, Kupiskio, Tarusku, etc.) and also from Vilniaus Alus. Prices are decent, staff speaks some English. Nothing spectacular, but everything they sell is great quality. No Kaimiskas Alus here, but you’ll still find lots of excellent Lithuanian brews.

By Europos aikštė Trolleybus stop (8,9,19) but nothing runs there direct from the city centre (although bus 43 from the rail station is direct). Small beer shop in the VCUP shopping centre on the ground level (called 1st floor!) near a decent coffee shop. Around 20 traditional Lithuanian beers, most in 50cl or 1 litre bottles, for around 4 LVL and even real Gira (kvass)!. Very enthusiastic staff who speak some English.
