54 stopped in here to pick up a few craft beers before flying back to Germany. they had a small selection, which allowed me to fill up my small bag for the flight...served its purpose, but was overpriced. |
70 Wine and beer shop in the middle (the shopping and touristy bit) of the city centre. Lots of good beers to take away, including Bristol, Arbor, Elgoods and lots of Thornbridge. Don’t be too tempted by the wine bar: you can only order a (small) selection of beers. Of course you are on your way to the Maypole anyway. But otherwise pretty darn good. |
66 Close to the river and bridge at the end of Magdalene Street which Magdalene College is located on, this is a predominantly wine shop as the name suggests but there’s enough bottled ales to warrant a look. They’re situated almost behind the serving area, so you pretty much have to stand by the till if you want to inspect closely the several rows of bottles available. There’s a mix of local and further afield brews. |
62 This is good sized wine store in a very central location. Inside they have a small, but decent selection of beers behind the counter. Plenty of local stuff as well as limited run BrewDog and some Belgian beer. Staff were more than happy to assist with your choice. I would n’t go out my way for this place, but it is in a nice central location. |
100 Super pøistup a výborná nabidka piva z celého svìta. |
78 Maybe this place has upped its game in the last year, because I thought their selection was pretty decent. Probably around 50 different beers in total, mostly British (including a nice range of limited-run BrewDog) with a small selection of Belgian, including some enticing Fatome offerings. From the UK, they have Fallen Angel, and anyone familiar with this brewery know that you do NOT pass up a chance to try some of their tragic range of beers. Prices are fair, the attendant friendly. Sure this place is a wine shop, but if you’re looking for beer you’re sure to find some goodies. There were a number of beers available here that were not to be found at Bacchanalia. The location is very convenient, so if you visit Cambridge I would recommend a stop. |
46 More a wine shop than a beer shop. They would have had a couple of new beers for me, but they were also available elsewhere in Cambridge, so nothing particularly special. Most beers easily visible in the window, so you know what they’ve got before you go in. |
66 Wine, beer and spirit shop in middle of Cambridge. Quite good selection of local ales. They have some macros as well. Not ypically beer shop, but if you like real ales, You will be satisfied. |
