The Frog & Rosbif

Pub Frog comme il en existe plusieurs dans la capitale. Les bières sont brassées sur place, elles sont assez inégales, on passe du bof au pintable. Les prix sont raisonnables. J'ai testé les tacos mais j'ai été un peu déçu, les burgers font envie mais non testés.

Had a great experience here. Staff were super friendly. Let us taste a litlle of all the beers before we bought a pint. Knew a lot about their offering. Ended up buying take home beers.

Bar sympathique et service efficace. Par contre les bières sont peux relevés.

Having visited all other 4 Frog pubs in Paris, I visited this one just for complete picture - no surprises - terribly weak beers. Also tried some of their foods here - yet another disappointment.

Our second time at this pub within the busy St Denis area. We have always felt pretty comfortable here and well looked after. The beer range changes slightly each time so there is generally something new to pick up, not the most exciting beers but are generally fine. Always worth a look.

Threw myself in here to avoid a sudden downfall of rain that was soaking up the streets. This pub is what you would expect from an ’English’ style pub in a busy European city. The beers are pretty dire. Staff seemed disinterested. The table next to me had 10 loud poms that appeared to be having a competion for who can use the word ’fuck’ the most times in one sentence. I had had enough after a couple and opted to calm myself down by getting drenched by the outside waterfall instead.

Good spot for getting away from crazy people on Rue Saint Denis. Six standard Frog beers on tap, plus a new one called Ba Ba boom. Nice place but there are better if you have time in central Paris.

Typical English pub look and feel, I have to give credits there. Located in a busy area with tourist traps, overpriced yet overcrowded places and boring beer, this is in a way a pleasant surprise. Service was speedy and very correct. The tap wasn’t working well so it look ages to get my pint, but I got a free one in exchange. The veggie burger was a good recipe and freshly made yet too far deep friend and without much garnish. Fries were great. The beers are just ticks, quite mediocre. Ask for a tasting board and you get all 6 in one sip portions for free! The food and pints are pricy though, or I should say Parisian perhaps. So yeah, mixed experience. Overall the beer nor the prices would have me return, but the service would. Maybe one of the other pubs in this ’chain’.
