Review is only for their Moline location - also went to their Burlington location on this trip and it's far inferior to their Moline one. So these guys are kind of the biggest historic player in the craft beer scene in the Quad Cities area. Beers are generally good - nothing you'll want to pour out, but nothing you'll go out of your way for (locals are often big fans of Uncommon Stout, a good coffee stout, but there are better out there). Beers are good across styles though and there's a small beer garden out back.

My wife and I stopped in late on a Friday night. Very cool area that has a lot to offer as well as ample parking. I had a sampler of 4 beers. A flight of all of their offerings was available and, though tempted, I had to pass. I did not check how many on the full tap list but ther must have been a dozen. All 4 were I had were solid offerings. The Pilsner and IPA stood out. Having had the 4 made me want to try the full list. Maybe on the next trip. The space is in an old building that has been redone. It maintains that classic old look with steel tiles on theh ceiling, etc. Brew kettles directlly behind the bar. I was a little surprised and amused to find bottles of Bud Light, Ulra, etc. available. They have their own bottles for sale, too. My wife had a two piece chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and I wa hungry for some greasy nachos. The nachos weren’t quite greasy enough (can you believe I am complaining about that?!). They were tasty and enough for a meal for 2 people. We enjoyed talking with our server Chrissy about the area and travel, etc. She was pleasant and refreshing. I came away impressed with Bent River. Exceptional beers, cool place and area, a strong staff, and good food. This would be a regular haunt if I lived closer.

Nice little brewpub not far from the river. Cool kettles and fermenters right behind the bar. 11 of their own beers on tap. Beer is slightly above average but about as good as it gets (it seems) around here. Food menu is mostly sandwiches, burgers, apps - although they do have a taco special tonight, 3 tacos for $3.50, good deal for sure. Service is good. Good for the area overall

I come here often for a reason. They have good food, excellent service and an awesome beer garden. But it’s all about the beers. The Uncommon Stout is one of the original and best coffee stout I have ever had. They always have at least 9 beers of their own on tap and I have never been dissapointed. Stouts and hoppy Ales they do best. Best place in 100 mile radius I would think.

It’s a pretty generic feeling place. Lots of wood paneling, tables, booths, bars. A bunch of TVs playing sports and a jukebox. Looks like they had a decent outdoor patio, but we sat inside. A pretty impressive offering of beers - made me question the assumption that they were more on the level of nano-brews. The food was above average too - nothing crazy awesome that would draw me back specifically for eats, but the combination of above average eats and beers brewed in house does! Coming from Chicago, the fact that I could get a flight, two pints, and a sandwich for under thirty bucks blew my mind. The staff was friendly and able to make pretty good beer and food recommendations.

This rating is for the brewpub in Rock Island, few miles away. The Moline location was closed because of remodeling. The brewery in Rock Island does not have food but serves the same beer. The bartender, who was very pleasant, was also from the Moline location.

Went by myself while visiting from out of town and my wife was off doing something with her girlfriends. Had lunch and sat at the bar. Drafts are cheap. Lots of "lawnmower" type beers but they were well executed. Nice brewery atmosphere and smell. Tanks and other equipment behind the bar and they were brewing that day so I had something to look at. Nice servers.

Dropped on in here in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, waiting for various relatives to get off work as I was in town visiting. Seated promptly, waitress was very friendly and helpful, talked about the beers and the brewpub. Place was nice looking - tanks behind bar and down to the back of the place. Looks like there might be a biergarden/patio in the back.

Beer pint prices were outrageously inexpensive, and the sampler was $5 for 4 4oz or so sized brews.

Visit for lunch. Seated promptly. Decor mostly dark wood with high tin ceilings resulting in a fairly noisy atmosphere although we had no trouble carrying on a conversation. Seventies music, Several flat screens with sporting events. Bar along one side backed by large brewing equipment. I had read horror stories of the service here but ours was great and the other servers seemed to be doing a good job as well. Menu mostly basic pub fare. My hamburger was very good, fries were good as well. Wife’s Cuban sandwich a bit on the dry side but good. Good variety of their own beers with a few interesting guest taps. has beers that will appeal to experienced beer geeks as well as people wanting more traditional. Will bring a small sample if you are interested in trying something. All in all very enjoyable.
