Great beer available. Rotating taps featuring many of the best brewers, especially from CO and KS. The food is great too.

Cool beer bar and seafood restaurant on Massachusetts. Certainly the top beer bar I have been to in Lawrence. Visited with Eugene and some friends, did drinks - no food. The tap and bottle list were solid, some less common things along with reliable standards. Good service, and cool laid back vibe at the bar. Overall, classy place with a nice beer list.

This is the best beer bar in Lawrence, which is not much to say b/c Lawrence doesn’t see much in the way of specialty kegs. They try their best to put on events and do a good job serving the beer, always fresh taps and clean lines. This also doubles as the only seafood restaurant in Lawrence. So food wise there are some different choices for the area but after all it is fish in Lawrence. Come here for a good beer, in a small place but nicely decorated, with some seafood, but don’t expect anything overly special.

This place USED TO BE AWESOME. It has turned into a Bud Light and fried food emporium. I hate to say it, but one of the top spots in the greater Kansas City area has gone the crappy way of mediocrity. If you want to experience Angler’s now, just grab a 40 oz and go to Long John Silvers. Boo.
