Set up like others in the chain thru the midwest - good (but standard list of British/Irish/Scottish brews), okay, but predictable Irish pub food, average service, and higher priced than is necessary.

This place has really good food. I particularly like the Pot Roast w/ mashed potatoes, the buffalo chicken sliders, and the pub chips (fries). The draft beer selection is always pretty good, especially if you like imports. There are usually a handful of domestic craft beers on tap too. Definitely a fun place to take people visiting Louisville for the first time. One of my favorite spots on 4th Street Live.

Located on 4th Street Live, this is a tourist trap. The place is nice and tries to recreate an English pub environment. Food is decent. Beer selection is not bad. It is a little pricey.

Nice English Pub theme. Good service and pretty good selection on tap. I will go back.

It’s alright, not impressed.

I have visited this place about 4 times and have enjoyed every visit. Nice selection of craftbeer along with a fine selection of liquor. The beers that I have tried have even been served in appropriate glassware. Nice little bar setup also. Tap handles are spread around the whole bar. The restrooms were very clean also. The menu for the beer and liquor selection breaks it down into regions and styles. That’s a plus because occasionally I have had a bartender or waitress that wasn’t too familiar with some of the questions I had about a particular drink. The food was only slightly avove average, but honestly I only stopped for the beer. It’s located in the heart of 4th Street Live, so it can get a bit crowded, but that’s ok. I will continue to stop by when I’m in the neighborhood for sure.

Nice place for lunch.

Nice pub in the middle of the commercial, tourist center of Louisville. Very big place with ample seating. It reminded me more of a steakhouse atmosphere. The food was very good and the service was great. They seemed to have a pretty large tap selection with a mix of local stuff and nationally distributed good beer. My friend had a Stone IPA, which I was surprised they had way out here in the east. I had a Bluegrass bourbon barrel stout which was good. I would go here more for the food than the beer.

descent selection - mostly English ales - that usually includes one cask beer. The Pub is the only tolerable bar in the god-awful, douche-infested 4th street LIVE! Although it has its tacky qualities, it generally offers a pretty nice atmosphere and descent prices. Service can be slow though. This place is worth a stop, and is the best bar in downtown Louisville IMO.

Located downtown directly in Fourth Street Live. Very nice central location of rectangular bar of wood and booths and tables around outside. Good selection of brews with two cask draws. Service was good with reasonable beer knowledge. Good Pub food menu and the Fish & Chips were good. Nice location if you are downtown. Another good brewpub two blocks south.
