Phaleslu told me about a rare local beer they had on tap here, so I figured I’d stop by and give Olives a shot for the 1st time. Walked into the bar room, features a bigger U-shaped bar with lots of tables behind. Exposed brick everywhere. Bartenders were very nice and helpful. Surprising amount of taps, with a pretty solid selection. 2 beers on tap which I’d never had before. Big menu, but I’m cheap so I went with the Reuben which was relatively well-priced at $8. It was OK, but the chips stole the show. Some of the best house-made chips I’ve ever had. Overall, worth a stop. The bacon & scallion quesadilla looked interesting, plan to try that next time I stop in.

Easy to find location with tough parking. Nicely remodeled building with bar in the middle with dining around and in the back. Good tap selection. Worth a visit if in the area.

Good spot down in the Gaslight District that has pretty good food and a nice selection of beer and wine. A little pricey, but service is good and it has a good ambiance.

They seem keep a varying selection on tap. I have had trouble with the consistency of the food. Good place for a drink.

Olives is located in the old Ludlow Garage building in the heart of the Gaslight District on Ludlow (the last occupant before was Uno’s Pizzeria). The atmosphere is cool, as it is a nice rehab of the building. The selection is decent- Bell’s, Great Lakes, other American crafts, and a good amount of locals. If you’re on this immediate stretch of Ludlow, Olives beats out Arlin’s in terms of quantity and quality. The food is not great and a wee bit overpriced. The service is fine. Update: They have stepped up the beer game recently, adding more taps and local brews. I’m pleased with the direction things are heading here.

Nice beer selection for a neighborhood restaurant. Draft selection gets muddled up with too many macros at times. Knowledgeable bartender. Olives is not afraid to put some craft imports and less trendy styles of beer on tap which is rare in Cincinnati.
