I’ve only been twice so far (it’s a long drive from deep in the 450) but was impressed both times. The service was excellent, the owner was very friendly and he was happy to answer our questions. They definitely have the best patio in the area, very comfortable and there is a cover if it rains. One of our visits was on a Thursday when the ladies get two-for-one on certain designated beers. I will definitely be back.

I am a regular of the Crescent neighborhood since I work next door, so I was quite happy to see a pub that is different that the rest of the place in term of decoration, ambiance and beer this is a refreshing addition to the area. The Ambiance was pretty nice with some Indy music and the people were friendly when I went there. Service was a bit slow, but very friendly and polite and different from the rest of the bars in the area.. Maybe the women, I don’t know. I wanted to eat, I was told they would be matching beer and food but I was told by the waitress that the food aspect will come later. Value, same price as everyone else on the block, nor cheaper or more expensive. Overall, I am happy to see that beer bar next to work!

Quevillon  (394) Boisbriand, Quebec | July 2, 2011
Visited for the first time July 1, 2011, the day after the official opening. This comment is only a preliminary! A new beer bar co-owned Martin Leroux (Goldorak on Rate Beer), located in an anglophone corner of downtown where most of the bar in that area are Irish-type, except for Brutopia but, it’s a new place where they have something other then Guinness, like Brasseurs Illimités, Dieu du Ciel and Les Trois Mousquetaires for starters. On their Facebook page they say that they are one of Montreal’s biggest beer bar dedicated to the world of beer, well it is one of the biggest, Brouhaha and Vices et Versa (after their expansion) are the other ones. Currently there are 12 beers on tap, nothing to scare your average person, but they will have some bottles and more beer geek friendly ales and lagers. The exterior is a beautiful old brownstone style house, but the interior is very modern, more than any other beer bar in Montreal, if not in Quebec. Of course there is a bar, but no chairs at the bar, however this place sits about 200 people, with 50 on the patio. Currently there are only chips and pretzels, but they will have a working kitchen and do some food and beer pairings. This shoud be a very good place to go back!
