64 The only thing I can compare this to is WIllow Park in Regina, and it seems to offer far less than I usually see there. There are no cold beer here and i’d guess there are 20 less options than Willow Park has. It’s still a very nice store and the best in the city with a great location just outside downtown. I imagine you would have to visit quite often to see what their selection really is. |
64 Start of a week in Saskatoon and this place is a quick walk from downtown. Nice to see some beers that I can’t get in Ontario or Quebec and to be honest I have nothing to compare in the area or even the province - but angel’s share, italian beers I have never heard of and a good selection of Quebec and east coast beers make a decent selection in what I expected would be a wasteland. Staff is helpful although not the most knowledgeable but very nice - good selection of wine, scotch and port as well if you are interested. |
76 Very nice store across from the Farmer’s Market in downtown Saskatoon. The website for the store has the wrong address but the ratebeer one is correct. The store is about 90% wine but the beer selection is out of this world for Saskatchewan: Lost Abbey, Bruery, Struise, Avery, Dogfish Head, Dieu du Ciel, Charlevoix Dominus. Everything I saw was in singles, but you could buy a case of Peche Mortel! Staff was very knowledgeable about beer and liked to chat. A must if you are in Saskatoon. |
70 The sister store to Willow Park. Decent selection last time I was there. The same selection almost as Willow Park, but more singles which is awesome. I hate paying $24 for a DDC 6 pack, here I can buy most in singles. Located in a nice area close to the farmers market. |
