No Longer In Business

Very nice brewhouse with a rustic interior and a great patio facing the Dom. A bit limited selection; would have enjoyed more Andechs beer, but the Doppelbock from fresh tap isn't bad. Great food at good prices.

Right next to the Dom, with a standard braustuberl set up. I was lucky enough to drink a pint of Doppelbock, from draught. Really pleased to have visited.

Slightly up-market, but cozy place in the heart of the city. Limited selection of Andechser beers, but the most important ones will be there. Pricy but well-made and slightly unusual food offerings. Both nice inside under the cozy painted vaulted ceilings and outside on the heated patio. Shame it closes soon :-(

I'm glad I got to try this place again before it closes in June. Visited with SinH4 and CS. Upstairs was chock full of stylish twenty somethings so we headed for the keller which was very quiet and somber, but not quite church-like. Lots of wood and many prints of the abbey on the walls. Food was excellent. Beer was fresh and tasty. Decent service, free schnappschens at the end of the meal. Will be missed.

Nice place with tables outside and a large wooden interior over two floors. Quite some tourists, but what else did you expect? Very nice service and good food, even though it isn’t exactly cheap. A bit disappointing, that they don’t have their own core range.

Centrally located next to many other classic places in Munich. The downside: It’s touristy and they don’t have the full range of regular Andechser beers. The upside: it’s cozy and the service is quite nice, and the food is also very good. Nothing too memorable, but still a nice place which will be very much missed once it is closed in June 2018...

Yet another pleasant and busy pub in the middle of Munich. Food was tasty, service efficient enough, just slightly disappointing there wasn’t a full range of Andechs on tap, as it is good stuff.

Very centrally located, medium sized place, not so classical decoration as others around. Andechs beers on tap, of course. Crowded terrace. Ok place, but nothing remarkable.
