72 My first stop in Slovakia. Big open space with a nice size bar in the middle. Wait staff was very friendly. Food looked good, pretty large menu. I didn't eat. Beer was pretty good. |
46 Clean but maybe sterile brewpub, clearly focussing on food, but a bit trashy with the doof-doof music. Staff were efficient. Has only 4 beers, some a bit too crafty, and the house taste was too minerally for me. Perhaps a completist's venue. |
68 Large place, with small terrace on the edge of the old town. Only the first floor was open on our arrival, but you could have a peek to 2nd as well. 4 of their own beers on tap, 2 mains and 2 seasonal/experimental ones.
No flights. Little English spoken and card accepted.
Food aromas were good and portions looked like proper size, but we didn't eat here. |
68 Close to the centre & central train station, slick somewhat German look. Standard efficient quick non-beer geek service. Good prices. Czech styled lagers, some IPA. All beers were decent but nothing great or exciting, food available. Serviceable and worth a check but no remarkable beer. |

58 Found this place by sheer coincidence, tried their dark beer which was kinda average and from a quick look on the menu it seem to be that the place is a bit overpriced for Bratislava. |
60 A large brewpub on several floors and rather busy at dinner time but an ideal stop for dumplings. The toilets on our floor required careful navigation - strangely, the door to the left led not to the toilets but to a tiny balcony overlooking the pub.

50 Right in the centre and easy to find. Several floors and sections of seating. Just two house taps of traditional style beers, both of which were decent. Prices for the beers were very cheap and service was friendly. Didn't try the food, as it was all carnist stuff. Worth a stop. |
70 Good location. Ambience is good. I had pilsner and dark lager and both of them were very good. It's worth visiting. |
54 A smaller version of its sister with no outdoor space that I saw. It did have lots of different rooms on several levels. Same beer selection as the other place. On second visit a few months later they have just the sane two beers on tap despite a chalkboard menu that shows more. So in this respect they lag behind the more modern brewpubs in town. Good staff. Didn't try the food. OK if you're in the area. |
