52 Visited 19/8/2022. Disappointing visit. The food order we waited ages for just didn't arrive and eventually when we asked where it was, it turned out the order had been "lost". The beer range was a little narrow but we managed to find some of interest whilst we waited for the food and when we eventually found out the food wasn't coming we left, hungry and underwhelmed. |
48 Nice german style pub that can be a little hard to find since it is in a back yard. They served Glarus and River Bulgarian beers. Service was crap. We ordered food and they messed up the order, only gave us the snacks and forgot the rest. |
50 This is a restaurant with a limited local craft beer selection. They had a tap and a few bottles from both Glarus and River Craft Beer. We ordered food and a round of beer. Then another round of beer. After about an hour we asked for our food, and apparently they had had a mixup in their IT system, so they hadn’t taken our order. They were taking our orders with pen and paper and the receipt came from an old fashion cash register, so their IT system didn’t even exist. |
64 A nice German style pub in a spot that is rather hard to find at night. Tried their own beer they brew which was rather decent. |
72 Located inside a ordinary looking residental house, this is a restaurant with a more than acceptable beer selection, 11 taps and plentiful of bottles, large beergarden to the street, cosy interior, beer menu available, but not for Bulgarian beer. Good place for shure

72 This place has a nice beer garden in front. 11 taps and about 100 bottles, where about 16 are Bulgarian craft beers. Beer menu in English, but only for the international selection. Of course we picked some bottles from the Bulgarian section, with no English information. Can't complain about the service, friendly and helpful women at work this day. Nice place to enjoy some beers. (Visited October 9th with Gunnar) |
72 Beer garden and bar with a nice selection of Bulgarian/German/Czech beer. Also their own one 'Nash'to Pivo' which is quite good. You can buy bottles for take away, even from the taps. Visited this place twice because in my eyes it is not far from the center and has a very satisfying selection. This, 'Vitamin B' and 'Kanaal' are maybe the must-visits in Sofia. |
56 Tucked away through a walkway, there is a very pleasant patio upon which to enjoy some beers. Pretty standard stuff on tap, with some nicer, mostly German and Belgian bottles, and a few bottled Bulgarian crafts (priced higher than in nearby bottle shops). Fun place to chill and maybe even have a snack or meal. |
68 Visited the 30th July - this bar near to the main foot street of Sofia has a good selection of international beers. All beers are really common. More a pub than a beer place. You can enjoy you beer outside on a cosy garden which is great in the heart of Sofia. Good to visit. |
68 Classic beer place with big selection of commercial beers from Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium and a few Bulgarian micros. Big menu for food but as for what I’ve tasted, nothing really good. Good prices and very polite waiter... |
