48 Very close to Beaver Brewing, so might as well hit it up. Old-school German beer pub feeling to the place, with a patio out front a little set back from a main road. They had only 3 beers on tap when I went, and none of their more interesting beers. No flights or small pours, but the bartender was nice enough to work something out for me. Not a top spot by any means, but might be worth a visit if you have time. |
72 Came here again in March 2018. What a difference to before. Beers were all very solid (liked the mildly hopped IPA the most), service extremely nice (brewmaster is very approachable and knowledgeable) and the food tasty (had a great Viennese Zwiebelrostbraten). The new brewmaster definitely has a very positive impact on this location. He is using the old brewhouse, but the decoration has definitely improved. Really glad, we have one more good brewpub in Vienna now! |

74 Brewpub with traditional interior. Located a little outside the city center but directly next to a tram stop. The offer 4 or 5 of their own beers and frequently rotate their taps. I would categorize their beer as average - had some really good ones and some quiet disappointing. Still like the place, also because of the pretty decent food - traditional dishes from Vienna but also burger and fries and that stuff. |
74 Place was going to close down for the day, but the waiter let us in anyway ( thanks, man ! ) I did not see him pouring the beers, or spoke him, even, so unfortunately, I can’t say anything else about the service. The place is surprisinlgy big, and nicely designed interior. The beers were OK, in a city like Vienna, I think this is a place i’d regularly visit to try new beers, as they do more than the lager styles, and certainly are nicer than 1516 . From what I hear, selection frequently changes. |
64 Brewpub with 4 taps with house beers. 2 rooms inside and a seating area outside. Beers was in the average to good range, the porter being the best of the 4 we got. Nice helpfull english speaking server, but a bit of confusion regarding wich beer was wich, ala 6 Porters on Ratebeer, all with very few ratings on them, and proberly very alike. No information about ABV on any of the beers served here. Plenty of people having dinner, looked good, but we allready eaten. |
80 Nice brewpub with a nice outside area as well. Good prices (also for food, but I didn’t eat there, so I don’t know how good the food is), good beer. Apparently they rotate their 5 taps very often, so I would probably come here very often if I lived in Vienna. A must if you’re in Vienna! |
72 this place has certainly improved in the last 18 months with some interesting, creative and good tasting brews. Food is still below average though. Interior too, but in summer you can sit outside and it´s quite lovely. |
80 One of my favorite brewpubs in Vienna.. Decent food with new creations every now and then for good prices. The regular beer Helles now is really clean and there is an always changing variety of speciality beers. Just drop by and you will always find new beers. Good luck to the new brewer Markus! |
76 Located a bit off the beaten tracks, but worth the travel. Nice outside seating area in summer. Their beers are solid, the Helles is easy drinkable and refreshing. Focused on Viennese Kitchen, but also Burgers are on the menu. Great Value! |
