The two main features here : 1) They really REALLY have every trappist beers bottled (33cl and 75cl) by the abbeys, even those you can’t buy or find easily. The selection is so complete that any place known to have every trappist beers is just no match for this little bar. 2) The prices are extremely low, almost like in a department store ! Beers are all served in their proper glasses and the staff seems quite knowlegeable about trappists. They even edited a booklet about the beers. Apart from the whole trappist thing, Maes pils on tap as well as another stronger blond ale that changes every week. There’s also a few beers for the ladies. Too bad it’s only open once a week. KUDOS to those students though. |
