Good high-grav selection for the Chattanooga area but costs a bit more than similar stores in other cities. Nice selection for limited space available. An expansion is necessary IMO

Excellent selection, particularly in the areas of IPAs and European brews. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good selection of singles with 10% discount for a mixed 6. Still, overall a bit pricey compared to Atlanta.

As far as ambiance goes, there isn’t any. This place has nothing any other store I’ve been in has. They sell smokeless tobacco for crying out loud and the counter reminds me of a convenient store. The guys working inside did seem to want to help me but probably just so I would buy more. They tried to give me a $1 discount on Yeti if I bought two. The selection is however, very good for the area. Allagash, De Dolle, Victory, Lagunitas, Sweetwater, Roddenbach, Ommegang, Duck Rabbit, and Achel just to name a few. If you are around Chattanooga then this is the place as it is only about a ten to fifteen minute drive from Tennessee. I have been to places with more selection but none around Chattanooga. Rerate: I haven’t been to Ft. Oglethorpe in over a year. They have expanded the size of the store and cleaned it up. Still in a seedy area but the store is nice. The growler wall is an awesome edition and at 50 cents a sample you can’t go wrong. Selection is great for the area. If your in the Chattanooga area or just passing through it isn’t very far off of I-75, easy to find, and the prices are as good as anywhere else.

I visited this establishment while coming home from a major road trip. While approaching Chattanooga, I realized that this was a perfect opportunity to visit this much-ballyhooed store. I am glad that I paid them a visit! Looks as though they have one of the best beer selections in Georgia, if not the absolute best. OK, maybe there’s not much that one couldn’t find in Atlanta, but their selection is impressive. The staff are friendly and helpful, and can they pack a box with beers. If ever you are in the Chattanooga area, do pay ’em a visit.

Very nice selection. Helpful staff. Growler wall was a good addition. A little hard to find. If you see Big Lots from the road you know you are there.

Nice store is a kind of crappy area. Awesome growler station. Nice singles selection and good amount of imports. Sweet selection of glasses to boot. Picked up 3 brews and a cool DFH glass. Best selection in Chattanooga area by far.

This is the best micro store in North Georgia. Hundreds of micro beers. Staff is knowledgable and very helpful. Now they have several beers on tap.

Best in the Chattanooga area. The selection and knowledgeable staff completely overcome the lack of ambience and location.

Well, a 3 for ambiance is probably stretching it. Let me put it this way - I don’t know if Fort Oglethorpe has a good side of town, but this ain’t it. This place is wedged in the corner next to a Big Lots and Food City. But once inside, it’s a pretty nice place, at least in the beer area. The selection is pretty good, with some singles available and a some in coolers, as well. Nice growler wall, and they take care to fill growlers well and seal them properly. Good prices on growler fill, as well.

This is a great store for craft beers. They just recently expanded into a larger area. There is a very nice setup for growlers with at least 20 beers to choose from (for growlers). They had a nice selection of craft beers from a wide area, and the owner stated that since they just expanded he is planning on getting in a lot more selection above what he already has. They had a lot of cold beer to choose from, and also had a pick a mix (pick 6 different beers) for a six pack.
