A bit cursed by being in one of the best beer cities in America. But this drills down on Pacific Northwest brewers, tons of limited distro local stuff (2/5 of the beers I checked had <20 UT ratings) which are actually good, liberal tasters / half pours - it's basically a neighborhood bar with a ridiculous craft beer selection. They do theme days - I wasn't there for that, but they looked excellent. Only negative is that the far West Seattle location is inconvenient. It's worth the trek though, even if the Beer Junction is a bit better. If you're in Seattle and not in the Fremont area, go here and the Beer Junction. If you're in the Fremont area, go to Brouwers and Bottleworks. If you're a beer geek trying to figure out where to stay based on beer, you want to be near Fremont, but Beveridge and Beer Junction would be the places to go if you don't wind up there. Spectacular place.

Old furniture, stuff scattered around, a couple dogs, good-looking bar. Knowledgeable beer-tenders. Wide-ranging selection of mostly Washington brews

It’s been a long time since I saw this place featured on a bank commercial. It’s actually what got me down here in the first place several years ago. A really cool spot that I couple with my trip to Beer Junction almost every time, due to the convenience. Really fun, unique place with a taplist that always has something special/exclusive/delicious. Table games, pool, shuffle board. Dog Friendly. BYOF. Always loved this place.

This was the first bar I took my puppy shortly after moving to Seattle. This is a rarity, a bar that allows dogs but no kids. Otherwise, this is a top tier Seattle bar. Small patio, comfy, how-like atmosphere inside with couches, wooden selves, pool tables, and little touches everywhere. They put on fun special events. Otherwise, the tap list has a few standard local taps and varies otherwise. Sometimes the tap list is dull, so check before going. No food inside. The staff are nice. Orderly system for ordering at the bar. Parking an be hard in the area on busy special events. Its one of my fav spots. For out of towners, it may be a little too far to trek. But doing the West Seattle tour is worthwhile. Prices are better than than Beer Junction.

Really charming place in West Seattle, with a fairly expansive interior and a somewhat rustic feeling with wooden tables and the like. Large and varied tap list; you can do flights of 6 at a pretty reasonable price. Service is very hospitable and friendly. Highly recommended stop.

Visited in the evening of Tuesday June 23, 2015. My friend drove us here, parked just around the corner. Sat by the bar. Sampled two mead from bottle and one from tap. Living room kind of feel to it with various dd furniture like a safe etc. Feels warm and friendly. Saw a bus stop right outside as well. Fast and friendly service. Nice place I could see myself going back to if a bit earlier in the evening than this time.

As others have said here, I really wanted to like this place. I was attracted by their beer events, such as their barleywine festival. The antique bar itself is very attractive. The stuffed chairs very inviting. But each of the 5 times I’ve been there, it has been a bummer. Seated at the bar to order a beer, more than one bartender has been genuinely unfriendly. One of them barked at me to stand in line at the end of the bar instead of serving me at my seat at the bar. A surly "You don’t appear to be worthy of our establishment so I’ll purposely ignore you" kind of attitude every time. Also, it is crowded, hard to get around in the place. Seating was rickety, tables didn’t sit square on the floor, causing multiple spills. Worst of all, the shuffleboard table is poorly maintained. Sorry, I won’t be back.

Neighbourhood bar but much better than average. Mostly local microbreweries. Service is good and they know about beer. Tried to take one of the locals sour stout but they insisted that I have to taste it before ordering. That was good because beer was horrible and I choose to take something else.
