Located out of the way, nearly in Kansas, Bier Station is a comprehensive beer store/bar. The tap list is full of regional, local, and import beers. Much of the packaged beer is available for on premise as well as off premise consumption. We're talking a well curated list of hundreds of beers so I hope any beer drinker can find something. The balcony overlooking the quiet neighborhood is where it's at. Highly recommended.

Located in some kind of mixed use neighborhood, they had a smallish parking lot but at night their's more parking open in the area. It's part bottle shop and part tap room. They have a very large selection of local and national craft and you can drink any single in the bar or take it home for a greatly reduced price. They also had an adventurous tap list with anything available as a 5 ounce poor. You can see from the picture they also have a nice balcony and outdoor porch area for hanging out. I really enjoyed this place and I think it works both as a bottle shop and a neighborhood bar.

Nice place way out of downtown in what feels like a residential neighborhood. Atmosphere is bright and clean, but lacks character. It’s really half bar and half bottle shop, and the bottle shop takes over a bit. No personality. The tap list is a good size and all craft. However, as an out-of-towner, I was hoping for more of a local focus. Instead there’s a lot of national craft brands like Ballast Point, Stone, Southern Tier, Oskar Blues, Bell’s, etc. They also seemed to have a high number of novelty-type beers with strange additions and treatments. I found myself quickly heading to the cooler to find something I wanted to try. Once I got there, though, there was more than enough. Tons of locals, some rarer imports. Lots to enjoy with very good prices, either for in house or to go. Food was pretty good but not impressive. Vegetarian options seemed like an afterthought, but that’s par for the course in KC. Staff was very young and laid back, but friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Overall this is definitely worth a stop, at least to grab bottles to go. But it didn’t feel like it would be my favorite neighborhood bar.

Definitely my favorite place of all the stops I made on a recent trip to KC. Very relaxed feel. Good service. Solid selection of local, national and international brews. Food was also very good and eclectic.

Really enjoyed this place in Kansas City. I’d definitely come here a lot if I lived in the area. Clientele is a mix of hipsters, middle aged people, beer geeks. Good mix. The Music is at a nice low volume good for conversation. Quality selection of taps and lots of bottles too which also can be taken to go. Pretty cool place.

This is a really outstanding little place. Only 28 taps, but everything is quality. Everything is available as a 4oz sample, or full pour. Service is outstanding, they clearly know their beer. Also, a good selection of bottles are available to drink there or to go. Very highly recommended.

I will probably say this a lot on this trip, but this is my new favorite place. A big selection of well chosen taps... Some common, some rare. All delicious. Service was fantastic. You can build your own flights, and they have their bottle shop too. A must if you’re in the kc area.

Stopped in during a trip to KC, to find a craft beer bar that seems deceptively larger inside than it appears from without. The tap list was quite decent, and kept updated on a couple large-screen monitors above the bar, complete with little keg gauges to show approximately how much is left of each beer. Bar staff seemed to really know their beer, and there’s a sizeable bottle collection that takes up an entire wall of coolers, either for on-site consumption or as a bottle shop. There’s a relatively small and simple food menu, which includes some particularly tasty brats. The crowd is friendly, the atmosphere laid back, the feel much like a comfortable little dive bar. Would return if ever back in town.

Nice pleasant place with plenty of great beers and always a rotating number of taps. One of the best in the country!

in at night, eclectic crowd, beer displayed for easy perusal and purchase, great business model due to recent Missouri liquor law changes, good neighborhood local and good parking. Small of but cheese and sausage selection. No complaints, an excellent local
