Visited 12.12.16 afternoon. Was quite empty when we arrived, the place just opened. Looks a little run down, about 6 taps - nothing too exciting, and a fridge with bottles: a few generic Belgians, a bunch of nice Germans - including some that I’ve been after for several years, and surprisingly enough - 10-12 bottles from Nogne O. Prices are as reasonable as they get, free, freshly popped popcorn and a pretty cool vibe. Will return.

Very cosy place in the most known square of Athens. Very friendly owner and staff and a massive selection of bottled beers! Very reasonable prices. Worth visiting the place.

Nice place at the heart of Exarchia, the alternative part of Athens. Mostly German oriented, some Belgian ales here and there, couple of typical Irish ones too. Lately, as the owner said, they’ve been importing Nogne O from Norway. The later were the most expensive ones, but its only fair since Nogne O has a limited production, and it delivers some of the greatest brews in the world. I had a 500ml bottle of Twin Captains D.I.P.A for 8.5 euros. Otherwise, the vast majority of the 500ml bottles cost around 3.5-5 euros (which I find extremely affordable.) I didn’t notice what was on tap, nor did I have the chance to taste the food. The place is nicely decorated and very clean, and proper glassware is a plus. Can’t say I liked the music, but as I was informed, they have resident dj’s during the winter. The owner is a very friendly guy with much love for his job and great knowledge regarding the beer he offers. Thank you, Yiannis, for sharing your tips and ideas with me! Since I’m not keen on German beers yet, I will most certainly pay another visit a.s.a.p.

SECOND VISIT: Food was better than the first time. Beer selection was beter since a lot of Nogne O beers are now available. FIRST VISIT: Beer-restaurant at Exarcheia central square. If you are a fan of German beers this is the place to go in Athens. Apart from German beers there were some Belgian beers too. The owner said that he will bring a lot of Nogne O beers. The prices for the German beers are good but the Belgian ones were expensive. I didnt like the food (except from the sausages and the fried potatoes). Friendly service.

Visited on a Sunday evening in June 2014. This rather small place has a central location in Athens. They hade quite a lot of beers from Germany that I had not tried before, also some beers from Belgium. The food was quite tasty. The owner spoke limited English but that was not a problem. We were the only customers during our twp hour visit. I kind of liked this relaxed place except for the music.

Very good place, with a wide variety of German beers, some Belgian and occasionally some American ones. The Prices are really good for the German and Belgian ones, a bit higher for the US. Nice atmosphere, nice music, nice food, the owner is ones of these guys who just can’t stop talking about beer. You can spend an hour just watching him explain the different styles and beers he has to offer, another hour discussing how he can’t find providers for good US and UK beers and how underrated is the beer system in Greece in general and another one comparing opinions about beers. The guy is just crazy!!

I have only been here once. Food was cooked nicely with great grill control. At these prices for these beers everybody at the square should be in THIS place and not drinking beers handed to them by monopolies (which is ironic). Beer is a bit too cold but I understand this is from customer demand as beer culture in general needs to catch up here.
