76 Great corner pub in the south side. 20+ taps with a good selection. Above average bar food - Sports on TVs - great service. .....
Draft Selection Rating : -Clueless-Average-[POSITIVE]-Impressive
Im giving them a firm positive selection rating - they always do a good job having different styles on hand - good beers from good brewers - at times they cross into the impressive catagory with hard to find scratch kegs and seasonals. i have made the trip there specifically to try a small batch scratch keg that i have not seen anywhere else. on the other hand they sometimes dip into the average catagory - case in point - they succumbed to the obnoxious punkin beer fad this fall with as many as 5 taps or so. they usually have a local beer or two on tap [ a big plus in my book ] and for the beer clueless a couple taps of standard american mass produced swill [miller lite ect.] .....
very friendly wait staff - blue collar patrons - good sports on several large screens - one thing they do i like is they turn off stupid juke box music in favor of the game announcers - so a great place to watch a local game.

76 A newer craft beer tavern on the South Side in Pittsburgh. Has a nice neighborhood feel. Friendly and warm.
Good bar food. Good selection of beers.
Was the old Forbes Field Tavern and was cloced for a few yrs. Well worth stopping in, say hello to Melissa the owner and manager. |
