Brauhaus Joh. Albrecht (Hamburg)

Not very hard to find. View to the canal. They don't do beer flights, although they said it after I ordered food. Only 3 beer on tap and no seasonals. Food was overpriced and medicore.

A large modern riverside brewpub and resturant. Normally there are 4 beers available 3 regulars and a seasonal. There are four coppers that are nice and shiny in a central location and there is also some old brewery equipment in corners that is quite intresting. This is a great place to eat, their Schweinshaxe is the best in Hamburg? Also their Schnitzel is very tasty, so don't miss it (with a beer or two!). Their portion are big in the evening, but if you go for lunch, you can enjoy a smaller portion of Schnitzel at a cheaper price. It's very crowded in the evening so recomend booking to avoid disapointment. The staff are friendly, but there are not many, so it can take some time to be served. The atmosphere is casual and definitely worth visiting if in the area, as a very good place to see experience German food and people

Pretty standard brewpub with a lager, a dunkel a weisse and a seasonal. A decent Schnitzel and two beers for 20 euro.

Large place with decent food and decent beer. They only had 3 beers on tap at my visit. All drinkable and in the 3-3,5 range. Do note that the marking on the Ratebeer map is incorrect, the pub is slightly to the south of the mark, just across the bridge. If you zoom in you will see the correct location. I actually had some problems finding this since I thought it was on the north side of the canal.

A large riverside bar and eatery. We visited late on a Monday lunchtime, it was relatively quiet, but here was a lack of server at the door so we walked to an empty table by the window, overlooking the river. When we were finally noticed our orders were taken. I order one of each of the house brewed beers that were on tap, all of which were very good, especially the wheat beer. The food was good, I had the "Tapas" which was really nice. The other half had the homemade ’Sulze’ which was also really tasty. The bill was what we expected.
