74 Visited here while in the area for business in late May ’16. Arrived at about 9:15 and at first they said the kitchen was closed, but they double checked and said they would take one last order - kind of early in my opinion! Anyway, the food was solid, lots of small plates and other gourmet and comfort food options available. I had Squid Ink Cavetelli and it was delicious. Have about eight or so of their beers on tap, I had a porter and an IPA and both were pretty solid. Service was prompt and and very sociable. |
78 Certainly a great brewpub. The design is funny, elements of fine dining mixed with "country inn" and you’re left not sure what this place wants to be, but in general you know its upscale. You pay for it too. Beers are solid to very good, though 2 were out the day we went, so selection was modest. Great cocktails also. Food is outstanding, unique, locally sourced. I like how they used planters to block view of the otherwise ugly Fairbanks Ave outside and the heavy mid-Saturday traffic. Pretty good service, but could be better. |
64 A bit upscale, clean "gastropub". Next to bar was nice to sit. Beers are not much to talk about but food is very good. Service friendly. The best place in Winter Park for sure. Decent bourbon & spirits selection too. |
94 Great place, craft beer and food are delicious. All brewed on site! not to mention their craft cocktails. |
90 Amazing restaurant that happens to be an even better brewpub. 9 beers on draft, all were good, 4 were great. The coffee vanilla brown ale was a revelation, the porter was spot on, ex hop, yummy. I can see why this place is packed. Destination brewpub and restaurant. |
78 A very high end restaraunt and brewpub, it is one of the nicer places to server beer and well. Service was great and apporpriate for an upscale place. Selection was a good size and beer was pretty decent with some good and some bad. Food is upscale and very pricey. We ate but what I had although interesting wasn’t worth the high price. For the area which is a bit dry on places, I think it is pretty good and if you are taking non beer geeks to a nice restaraunt is perfect for sneaking in a taster flight. |
76 Went for brunch. Food was very good. Beers were serviceable with a few experimentals. Worth a stop if in Orlando. |
78 Big restaurant like brewpub with good food and decent beers. Quite a few of there own. More the kind of place ig go for the food and get good beer to go with it than just for a drink |
88 Dinner stop. Busy, but not really crowded at 8PM. Parking was a bit problematic. Took a seat at the bar while waiting for my friends and ordered a sampler - five four ounce pours for like $11 - not cheap, but when in Rome. I picked the ones I wanted, but later in the evening others were told that it was Brewmasters choice only. Interesting. Really nice decor in the place, and as I have come to expect from the area, service was excellent. We were seated for dinner, and thats where the best part of the evening began. Food (and related service) was EXCEPTIONAL. Hangar steak to die for. Cooked to perfection. Sides awesome as well. The beers themselves were solid, a couple standing out. I really enjoyed the citra brown, for example, and the wit lived up to its ratings. A great stop, and a must if you are with foodies - they will be completely satisfied with the dinner, and you get solid beer as a bonus! |
76 Visited on a Wednesday evening. Large building, big new and shiny. Really clean design, lots of wood and metal. They had 8 of their own beers on, with a good variety of styles. The place also has a strong cocktail focus. Service was solid, despite the busy happy hour crowd. Not sure if they do food at the bar, though they had a happy hour snack menu I ordered from. Fun place, would be great for a group. 76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time) I only use the total score, not the component parts. |
