44 Small, noisy, wooden-panelled bar in an awkward neighborhood of Madrid. 10 rotating taps and a couple of fridges with bottles and cans. Some interesting Spanish craft ales. I've read some people consider this place pricey -I don't: it's way more expensive than pricey! Beer on tap it's not so over the top, but cans and bottles show double-the-price tags. If you're in Madrid there are better, cheaper and more accessible venues. |
70 Good bar with a really good but small selection of beers.
A bit pricey. |

72 Had been meaning to visit here on past visits to Madrid - very close to the office but had not gotten around to it. Corrected that on thi svisit and glad I did- they had an IPA festival on 6 of the 8 taps were pouring IPAs from all over the world including SIPA, DIPA & TIPA. Small but well balanced bottle list - got the feeling they were hammered at the weekend and waiting to restock.
German style bar, with lots of beer related displays, long bar with stools and small table area. Good choice of music playlist and friendly customers.
Good selection of food to choose from prepared in small kitchen and free snacks with beers ordered (olives, nuts etc).
Agree some of the imports seem pricey but actually same beers in offlicence Be Hoppy even more expensive; so probably just import costs. |
54 Attended reluctantly. Very expensive price in relation to quality |
