While BexMax is the king of beer distribution in Stamford, Cost Less is the best location in northern Stamford. Owned by a Russian family, the owner is super nice and his staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. While their selection isn’t massive, they have a decent big bottle selection which includes your typical Belgium heavy hitters, as well as more lesser known local breweries like Berkshire and Clown Shoes. Everytime I walk in, nearly a quarter of their selection is on sale, so it’s easy to find a deal. Overall, their prices are low for the area, especially for a smaller-scale store.
