Not totally sure what to make of this place as the concept seems sort of all over the place. Semi-retro, semi-Jewish deli, semi-modernized American/deli food, semi-beer place…oh well.

Service here was pretty good and I enjoyed the food--the house made chips are pretty solid, as are the sandwiches.

Tap list is available on-line, which is nice, but they kind of push that on you even when you’re at the restaurant…you should be able to see what’s on tap while you’re there. Beer prices are a bit high as well. They had a handful of beers I knew were good as well as some ticks, ended up settling on a Green Bench IPA.

Fine enough place, but wasn’t quite as wowed with it as others seem to be. But, that could also be that I was also just sort of ready to go home after being on the road for two weeks.

Neat little spot with a solid tap list in Tampa. Great menu with a lot of heavy unique comfort food (including a donut bunned burger). Had the ham and cheese on a pretzel bun smothered in beer cheese fondue. So good. Service was not great, and my bet was either stale or Barley Mow makes terrible beer. Either way, it came out of the tap flat and not good. Recommended though and plenty of beers to try with your cheese smothered lunch.

Visited here in late March ’14 while on a business trip. Great eclectic restaurant located in the Palma Ciera section of Tampa near MacDill Air Force Base. Loud, but not obnoxious, fun atmosphere with an amazing menu.Difficult to decide on what to order, everything sounds so amazing. Beer list is decent ,not exactly beer- geek centric - but enough there to keep you interested. Food is very affordable - many entrees about $12, but beers are priced a bit on the high side. Will try and make this a regular stop when in the Tampa area.

Went during a Bell’s event so I only drank Bell’s beer. Nice bar with some good beer selections. Good service at the bar. I could go here often if I lived here.

Met up with two old friends here and was impressed by the tap selection. Server wasn’t particularly beer knowledgeable but food and drinks arrived promptly. A great selection of taps and a decent bottle list as well. Really liked the food as there were a number of unique offerings. Prices were great as well. This place definitely surprised me but would love to try again.

This is a least six places in one. It’s a deli counter. It’s a bakery with great desserts. It’s a cocktail bar. It’s a patio cafe. It’s a nice restaurant/diner. It’s a cocktail bar. And, thankfully, it’s a beer destination. Service was terrific, even though I caught them on a lazy Monday, recovering from Craft Beer Week. The beers on were OK, nothing exciting. It could be improved by featuring more stuff from local breweries, not just CCB Jai alai. The food was great - the best meatloaf I’ve ever had. Only the sugar on the chips (or crisps, to my British friends) kept it from being a 10 - a dirty trick, imho.

Wonderful place to get great food and great beer. Their selection is pretty darn good, and seems to always have something new and interesting.
