60 The only brewery located in the town of Dingle in Ireland. Small place that’s right off the main road as you are heading into the town. Friendly staff and nice ambiance in their tasting room. You can pay 7 euro for a self-guided tour of their brewery (although the staff were happy to answer questions) that comes with a pint, or just grab one at the bar. Only downside is they only make one beer, Tom Crean’s lager, which is pretty average. But all in all, an interesting place to visit. |
42 This place is located at the foot of a huge mountain just as you are coming into town. There is really nowhere to park right next to it, but a couple blocks up the road there is a grocery store and a strip of a few shops with a parking lot you can use. The place, once inside, is all anout their one beer. You can purchase merchandise of all sorts here. I ordered a half pint of their beer and walked around to look at the place. They offered a tour of the brewery, but i did not do this. I didnt really have time. The beer was decent, service was very good, but the prices seemed out of whack. The bartender, however, was nice enough to make recommendations of where to go next in the city. |
56 Very good guys. Back in 2013 they were making only lager, but it was very good. |
72 Stopped by here a few months back when the brewery had been open for no more than a couple of weeks. The brewer and the Manager were very nice. The place was pretty clean and still getting put together. They only had their one beer on tap, and you can only sample it as a complimentary to purchasing a tour - in order for the brewery to avoid competing with local bars. The beer was basic, but a nice take on the style. |
