88 As others have noted, huge place with a cooler in the back. Would call this one of the better beer stores I've been to in Colorado. Mr. B's is a bit better curated but there's some great stuff here if you have time to look for it. Worth going out of your way for - lots of good stuff from both Colorado and outside of Colorado.
Place itself is basically a beer, wine and liquor warehouse. But such a great selection (and don't forget the mead!). |
76 Possibly the biggest liquor store I have ever been to. Tasting was great; got 2 shots of tequila and 2 small glasses of beer. Honestly, their craft beer selection could have been better. 2 racks and 4 refrigerator doors for a place that big seemed a bit light. The price was good on some things and they did have sales. If you are willing to shop around, you could get some pretty good deals. You should see this place just for the wow factor. |
90 My go to beer store in Boulder. Big, clean, organized well. Lots of beer. Singles available. Average prices. |
100 Hazel’s is great! Best selection, service and price in Boulder. |
78 Big, clean warehouse liquor store with a really large pick six section that deserves kudos for being refrigerated. They also have some nice Mikkellers, prairie artisan, perennial, and evil twin bottles in their walk in beer cooler. Service isn’t a premium but it’s pretty solid by Colorado standards. |
68 Nothing special about the atmosphere. Service was unimpressive, worker tried to tell me that beer didn’t expire if it was in a box (what!?). The selection is what is truely impressive about this place, about 8 coolers for pick sixes, many unique four packs, and just a lot of good beer. That being said, I did not see anything super rare for the area. Prices were ~10% higher than Wilburs in Fort Collins. Overall, great selection, clean, and that is really about it for me. |
84 One of my favorite places to get beer, great selection and a knowledgeable staff. This place is pretty nice and offers a friendly setting in which to shop. |
82 A huge liquor store that has a huge selection of beers. Being it’s such a large liquor store, it does get allocated a lot of beer. However, unless you’re really on-top of the release dates, it’s hard to find those beers because of the heavy traffic. If you come at the right time, you can find some real gems.
The staff in the beer department are all very helpful, nice, pleasant. They are fun to talk to and excited to talk with you, a refreshing change for a large liquor store.
Shelf prices aren’t too impressive, sales are outstanding! Shop the sales and you’ll come out ahead.
Definitely worth the stop.

84 Stopped in with Mike and Bobby. This place is enormous. Probably the largest liquor store I’ve ever been to. Costco sized selection of beer, wine, and spirits. Tons of single bottles from all over Colorado and also a lot of interesting imports from all over Europe and some South American countries. The prices are pretty good and at least on par with other stores we visited. You can certainly find plenty of things to try here. |
80 Visited October 7, 2013 with 3fourths and womencantsail.
This has one of the more ridiculous beer selections i’ve seen. 75 doors of refrigerated beer plus a walk in fridge and an aisle of unrefrigerated beer. There is a ton of stuff to chose from here. The prices are all average but the selection is out of control. On the shelves they also have this digital display telling you the price, presumably so they don’t have to add stickers to all the bottles. We found lots of new start up breweries as well as all the regular stuff and some imports that I hadn’t seen before. The service was friendly and the guy stocking shelves made some suggestions. Nice place, even the hippies that hate chain stores seem to like this one. |
