It's the best of the iTap locations, I think. Some good stuff on draft here but the breweries in town are so good that I'd suggest just going to them. It's the post-COVID reality, although this iTap location is worth stopping at post-4 Hands.

Visited on a Football Saturday and enjoyed all the TVS, great selection and with food being able to be ordered next door and brought to your table. Great place to have a few.

iTAP is in an industrial loft setting in a renovated machine shop in Soulard. They don’t sell food, so you can either order food from one of the many restaurants close by and ask for it to be delivered, or you can bring your own food. Even better is iTAP’s proximity to Soulard Market, which is a farmer’s market that’s been open in one form or another since 1799. iTAP has leather couches and chairs arranged for conversation plus a large patio. UPDATE: Taps are uninspired. Bottle selection is limited. Be prepared for very poor service on weekends. They are chronically understaffed and the bartenders are overwhelmed.

Very nice place. Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty. About 40 taps, most of which were local and good quality stuff. Fairly good bottle list also. Staff was helpful and friendly. Cool part of town. They do flights of 5 for about $12. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited late January, 2015. Great place and was stoked to have the pizza from next door, though I understand they’re not exactly affiliated. Nice staff, good service, and a great selection. Sort of a feeling of a hippy/dive place, but in a good way. As an out of towner they had a load of local taps I hadn’t had. Great place!

I swear I’d entered notes on this place before, but guess not ... Definitely the top beer-drinking spot in STL, unless you want a brewery-specific site (Perennial, Schlafly). Huge beer list, definitely beer-minded staff, nice vibe, pleasant neighborhood. Go!

Big, functional space with a nice beer garden. I visited on a saturday evening and didn’t find it busy, despite the fact that they were holding a special event called ’Firkin Fest’. Most people seemed to be there to watch the ballgame and have a casual drink, not to try the casks available. Large tap list, though not all of it was interesting. There was a decent amount of local stuff available, something I always like to see. I opted for a gravity pour of cask Stone IPA with Orange Peel. Decent stuff, and not badly priced considering it was a specialty item. The service was pretty friendly. Overall, a good pit stop. Not a showstopper of a place, but I’m glad I checked it out.

This is what I think a beer bar should be. Great and diverse selection, bartenders were very knowledgeable and helpful - they even had suggestions of what we might like. No food on site but you can go next door for some great pizza. My wife and I were able to sit in comfortable chairs and watch the World Cup while our server (I wish I could remember her name) brought us everything we could ask for. The only knock on the place is that the beer menu was a bit outdated; some of the beers on the menu were not actually on tap. Highly recommend; we went here and the Bridge Tap House in the same night and this one was considerably better.
