This was the usual tourist trap type to go. But the family wanted a restaurant with a view of water and the beer was good. Food was alright.

Nice place. Decent beer and service, not great beer or food but decent. Has a few more varieties than the other brewpubs in the area. Always worth a visit when in the area. Like the ambiance.

I just could not get into this place. Marginal food and a waitress who knew almost nothing about the beer. They had eight brews on tap, and I didn’t rate any of the seven I had above a 3.1 on the RateBeer scale (I skipped the eighth due to expectations of poor quality). Everything seemed safe and uncreative. It felt like a tourist trap, too, and wasn’t all that fun. Won’t be back.

Wish I could report a better experience, but this was the low point of our week in MB. Layout was decent, if not on the touristy style, as others have mentioned. Service was okay, but the bartender was more interested in flirting with the female patrons than making us feel more comfortable. Food was awful; overdone fish and chips, burnt onion rings and mediocre pork sliders. At least it was not expensive. Beers were uninspired; about 6, with a pils, lager, pale ale and red ale that were made in house. Had a better time at a sister establishment called TBonz in North MB.

Ambiance was americanized steakhouse. Service was ok but nothing special. Selection was probably about 8 of their beers. Value was decent, not very expensive, but beers not too good either. Worth stopping if at broadway at the beach, but not really any other time.

Stopped by this place a couple of times during my recent visit to the Myrtle Beach area. Both times I visited during the very busy/after work time frame. Both times we elected to sit in their "Beer Garden" area rather than wait (45 minutes) for a table in the dining room. The full food menu is available in this area, plus we got to watch a Red Sox game each time, so I was happy with this choice. Food was pretty good and we shared a wide variety of both pub-oriented and traditional restaurant food. The beer was just OK... for the most part mildly flavored and somewhat watery. The fact that it was obviously so popular amongst the locals, however, is a major victory in what I would consider hard core AB-InBev-land. The best of the beers they offered were the IPA and the Cooper River Red. Service was adequate, even though the place was packed both times we were there. This place is a part of the T-Bonz Restaurant Group, which owns several other restaurants and brewpubs in the area.

From the outside, things look great! It’s a well kept building, very busy, looks like people were having a good time! Inside…. the same, excellent seating on the porch/deck, plenty of room. Then there was the service, not bad, they knew all of the beers and their little "catch" phrases that went along with them, but then I heard one of the waitresses compare their lager to Bud & Miller Light, so I went with the porter, which was a very thin and watery (see rating, C W Porter), My father in law had the nut-brown, and said the same. My wife and in-laws had the $21 steak, they all said it was horrible, I had the Burger for $8 and thought it was wonderful! A great place to go for tourist, but not my cup of tea.
