I was relatively impressed by this place, in the same plaza as Knightly Spirits. Chain-trained ladies were friendly to me as I arrived, and there were two bars with 20 odd taps, and a fair scattering of macros among them. There was a half decent 100 or so bottles, including a few locals that tempted me. A large, well lit restaurant area with knooks, crannies, and person chilling.

Visited recently for lunch on a Saturday. They were advertising World Beer Month inside and outside and the restaurant, so immediately I was intrigued. Decent tap selection including Rogue , Sea Dog, Paulaner, Hoegaarden, Gulden Draak, DFH and some others. Draft and bottle list was organized by nationality. Unfortunately, there were very few Belgian ales but they did have a nice selection of American craft brews. Decent bottle selection as well including some surprises like Holy Mackerel, Left Hand Milk Stout, Great Divide, DFH, Clipper City, North Coast and Lagunitas. Food was very good as well. Recommended if you are in the area but probably not worthy of a pilgrimage from far and wide.

Easy to find location directly off I-75. Large lot. Building is clean and orderly. Bar on left and seating for food on right. Bar has taps in the middle with coolers on both sides with bottles. Staff is freindly with good beer knowledge. Menu is corporate apps and dinner selections. We had the Trio Ap and Chicago 7 pizza. Good location, beer selection and food. Well worth the stop.

Stopped in here after dropping a wad of cash over at Kingdom Liquors. This place has a fairly long draft selection and definitely a long bottle selection. The problem I have is that just about all of it is rather mainstream ho-hum micro or macro snooze fest offerings. I do like the copious amount of display media around the joint. One of the better places to catch a game and get a modestly interesting beer. The food I saw was uninspired. I didn’t try the pizza though. Next time.

Decent place. Good selection of bottled stuff, but the draft list left a bit to be desired. They did have Left Hand Milk Stout on, which was really good, so I give them that. The food is overpriced and pretty bland, wouldn’t go back for that part of the equation. I would have been wowed by this place a year ago, now it’s just above average compared to the other places I have been.

Rerate: the food STILL is below par!!! Done. Overall pretty decent beer selection as stated - was a little surprised to see that they had Rodenback Redbach so had to try - been there 4 times - each time the food has been a little below expectations - as stated before little knowledge of beer and servers become annoyed with questions - I still enjoy the atmospehere though.

They’re all the same. Each does carry craft beers from their regions, but have the standards that we’ve already tasted for the most part. The Pizzas and salads are pretty darn good, if not authentic Chicago style. The staff is enthusiastic and some are even knowledgeable. Friendly and attentive at the very least. With all Old Chicagos, at least you know what you’re gonna get! Go on in!

This is a good place to get some tasty American style food and extraordinary beer. I could eat here often. The service is good too.

This is in Brandon. Reminds me a lot of my BJ’s in Fresno Old Chicago doesn’t brew their own beers, but then the Fresno location doesn’t either. Menu seems similar Lots of Pizza, but a nice offering of pasta’s and other foods as well. Good for kids. Has a strong sports atmosphere, but not exactly a sports bar. I think they had over 20 beers on tap, and quite a selection of bottle in two refrigerators. If you are into hops this isn’t the right place. [no IPA’s, let alone anything hoppier, of any kind] However, they did have an otherwise interesting selection with several wheats and Belgians, as well as some decent pale ales. The food was very good {i had a chipotle calzone that was quite tasty} Our particular server was not for the beer lover however. He mostly spoke of "bud". I don’t really expect more, but I’ve been to many restaurants that give a "beer 101" type class for their servers, but apparently not here. Definitely worth a try.

In Brandon it rocks, looks like a sports bar with about 20 on tap, I agree with the staff issue, the girl bartending was dissing pretty much every beer I ordered which pissed me off, ecspecially when she told me NewCastle was her favortie and that Sam Adam’s Winter Lager was the best winter brew ever. I’d go again, but the prices vary drastically.
