| ontbeermaker (127), Ontario | | March 1, 2012 Nice place, lots of selection, lots of imports, lots of heady topper, some raritys as well, worth a stop in | | punkska101 (29), Chambly, Quebec | | July 19, 2011 A nice suprise even more on the road then Winooski especially coming out of VBF. Not a huge selection but grabbed a Mikkeller hop breakfast which I can’t wait to try. The isle are wide the place is well lightened make the beerseeking only faster. They now also offer a growler filling station not that expensive like 9$ or so. | | VTHopHead (57), Barre, Vermont | | June 9, 2010 Visited recently after a long time ago... impressive expansion of their beer selection. Prices more than can be found locally, but they have some beers that are ard to find and some of their "specials" were excellent. Worth a visit when in the area. | amarcero (1), , Vermont does not count - explanation | | November 22, 2009 PSB hasn’t been rated in a while so I thought I would add a few comments. They’ve really amped up their beer selection in recent months. Yes, it is still the go-to place for UVM, but you might be surprised at what you find there. | alienink (2), Vermont does not count - explanation | | July 7, 2007 Nothing really special, Don’t bother going in after 9:30 on a Friday or Saturday, lines galore! Us college kids need to get our beer some place. Plan accordingly. I prefer the Beverage Warehouse in Winooski! Much better selection and more of a variety. Prices are real good too! | | Goldorak (112), Montreal, Quebec | | July 20, 2005 I concur with the others, not really worth the trip. Staff who couldn’t care less about you, I remember this one time the checkout girl was babbling on her cell phone and didn’t even say hello or thank you or anything. Overpriced and dubious-looking imports, they may have one or two bombers of Rogue or something else that Winooski’s Beverage Warehouse might have sold out, but other than for that reason, I’d pass. The only reason we did stop is because we drove by and had time to kill. | | CaptainCougar (142), Columbia, Maryland | | July 13, 2005 Not worth the time or effort. They don’t get anything spectacular here and they don’t carry McNeills. The selection isn’t terribly bad, but everything they sell can be found at Winooski Beverage Depot and it’s usually cheaper there anyway. | | muzzlehatch (255), Burlington, Vermont | | May 31, 2005 [ Updated August 14, 2005 ] I don’t have much to add to what Chazy said. No McNeills is the biggest fault...the only brewery really worth it in the state, and they don’t have them. And the lousy (read: nonexistant) service. More singles available than there used to be, but so what? Winooski Beverage and City Market pretty much cover the Burlington area, this is a distant third. UPDATE August 13 2005: Visited tonite and was disappointed to see a lot of winter 12-packs left over from last year, few summer beers from this year. Obviously, take extra care in looking at dates here... | | ChazyRPh (10), Chazy, New York | | January 25, 2005 Typical beverage center/vermont liquor store. Parking is average, with some off street parking. Staff really doesn’t care what you are doing. They have a decent selection of Vermont beer, except McNeills. Some other Belgians and some German beer also. They have a cooler with some of these singles chilling out, and also a shelf with warm selections. They have large selection of 12 packs and also some 6 packs. Also the macros are well represented here. Vermont as an ABV law, so no real big beers available. Would I go back? Maybe not. |
