78 Visited early August 2019 – located a 20 minute walk from the West Ferry Terminal this place is probably the first or last place to visit depending on your scheduling and in our case this place marked our last pitstop before getting the ferry back to Tallinn. We visited late afternoon/early evening and despite it being quite a residential area, was reasonably busy with what appeared to be groups of workers relaxing with beers after a days work. Even with the bar itself being so small there was plenty of outside seating in the sun to absorb all the people which is good as sure this place would be rammed in winter months. Staff in the bar were friendly and there was a good taplist available on our visit, got through a few beers here sitting outside in the sun before walking to get our ferry back. Recommended spot. |
76 After a very needed meal at the nearby Kotipizza, my machinery was ready for beer, again. Kind of strange location for One Pint Pub, a residential area where you would not expect finding a little craft beer bar with decent selection on tap. Also four fridges with craft beers. Beer menu on Untappd. Friendly service and 20 cl pours. My beer: Cool Head Brew Double Deep Stoned. Well worth a visit and not to far from the city centre. (Visited March 23rd 2019) |
80 Visited on 7th May 2019. A little out of the city centre in a nice residential area sits this place. Looks like an Irish pub from the outside, the decor is very much from the 70s and does look like a tired old pub. Beer range has a solid range of Finnush and Euro beer on tap plus a decent bottle selection. Service friendly and prices were decent. Liked this place. |
82 Small bar near the harbor. Had patio during summer which is always a plus. Good service, great selection from taps and bottles. Prices are not bad if you do small pours. Overall: was one of my favorites in Helsinki. |
72 tiny little bar that's almost in a school playground.. ok selection on the tap, with some interesting bottles... bit run down. decent service. i kind of want to give this 2 scores. one for a bar in your neighbourhood. as if this was my local id be delighted, as a trip out. its an ok place |
68 Fairly small and brown pub in a nice location a bit off the beaten path. Quiet and relaxed early on the Saturday I visited. Great selection of bottles and decent selection on tap too. Not a must visit in my book, but certainly worth checking out. |
70 Beautifully located right on the river, this was a stellar stop. Limited but decently well-curated draught selection of Finnish locals. They will do 0.1L pours at a reasonable price. Good bottle selection too - found some BA Finnish stuff I didn't find anywhere else. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the better stops in town. |
