| ericandersnavy (27), crossroads, Texas | | June 14, 2009 [ Updated June 30, 2009 ] very clean place with a great atmosphere right in the heart of bricktown. ordered a club sandwich to share with boomer and the waitress removed the tomatoes off my half of the sandwich which was awesome. the sandwich was 9 bucks but it filled up the both of us. beer was ok priced.....i have seen worse. my experience here was great and will go back again, especially just to enjoy the atmosphere of the rest of bricktown. | ljstephenson (3), Lawton, Oklahoma does not count - explanation | | April 17, 2009 Ambiance is enjoyable, selection is moderate with over 200 choices. The pint prices are a bit too high, especially for Oklahoma. Service is fair at the bar, but if you’re at a table, it’s usually understaffed with waiters/waitresses. Overall this place is fair, but not on a busy night, because paying higher than average prices for beer that doesn’t get to your table for a while is kind of annoying. | | tylerss20 (10), New Hampshire | | May 5, 2008 If you want beer in Oklahoma, this is the place. The ambiance is somewhat lacking, but that’s okay, because it is not crowded during the week. I went there on a weekend when the music was live, and it was not as much fun (the band sucked). Service is generally pretty good, except when it is crowded. Food is pretty standard, though there are some interested appetizers on the menu. Seating is comfortable, and private. And the beer...hundreds of taps, it seems like. A wall of them. And a lot more bottles. A bit on the expensive side, however if you live in Oklahoma, you’re not going to find most of these brews anywhere else. | | eaglefan538 (90), Wilmington, Delaware | | January 18, 2008 By far the best selection I learned of in OKC and the best beer stop I managed to make in the state with some oppressive beer scenes. They were still recovering from a huge party the day before when I got there (Sunday evening, 5PMish), the food was really pub-like (ie. not that good), but the selection was pretty good: imports and domestics alike. If you’re forced to travel to OK (ok, it’s not THAT bad, but...), this might be the best stop. | soonerjeremy (1), does not count - explanation | | January 14, 2008 Amazing place with a million different beers on tap. Great service and the food was great. It feels like a relaxed old english pub with a better selection. | Patrick4504 (1), OKlahoma City, Oklahoma does not count - explanation | | November 2, 2007 This place is under new ownership. They have really cleaned the place up and seemeed to have corrected the service problems. | | troyc (72), Lubbock, Texas | | April 5, 2007 Lots of beers on tap, but quite a few of them are not available at any given time. A good place, with average prices. Worth visiting if you’re in the area, but watch out for the service. | | mattcoats (18), Norman, Oklahoma | | March 23, 2007 The largest on tap selection I’ve ever seen... Unfortunately that means that some of the beers don’t move well. If something doesn’t taste right, send it back, they’ll understand. | tikimann (4), Stillwater, Oklahoma does not count - explanation | | July 19, 2006 If you dont sit at the bar, there is a chance you will be ignored. The selection they have appears pretty good, but they are often out of what I want. I recomend a sampler, they are all enjoyable. My three favroite beers were all recomended by 3 different employees at Tapwerks, so dont be afraid to ask "whats good?" | swzine (3), does not count - explanation | | March 22, 2006 This was a cool little place. Their honey brown wings were pretty good but real spicey. The serive is terrible- at least when I went. It took like an hour to get food. The beer selection was good and the food was good so I liked it in general. Parking sucks though. Parking throughout all of Bricktown is a pain. Don’t mess around - just find a garage and pay or you can end up driving for an hour. | View Page: 1 2
