Small state monopoly liquor store near Keflavik airport, offering a small number of Icelandic craft beer in bottles and cans as well as a pile of cheap(er) macro swill. The selection from store to store varies, but most of these stores carry the same stuff, not including some of the better beers made in Iceland from Borg and Ölvisholt, which you can find in the beer bars of Reykjavik. I came away with a single 33cl spiced Easter beer from Steðji.

A little booze shop near the Netto market (or look for KFC, it’s just south of there in a strip mall)...the address doesn’t work worth a shit in Google maps, but the vinbudin.is site marks it correctly. Some swill cans and a small corner of more serious bottles. Some Belgian crap imports (Leffe and such), some random Icelandic stuff from Ovisholt, Borg, Gaedingur, etc. It would probably only take 2 or 3 visits to exhaust all the interesting stuff they have (for outsiders). But hey, come on...this is Reykjanes...there’s nothing here, so if you happen to crash here one night since it’s near the airport, you’ll be thanking your lucky stars you can get ANYTHING of this caliber here. That said, even the KEF airport has more Borg beers than this store, so...don’t expect much and be happy with what little you find.
