Willow Court Wines

Having driven past several times when travelling into Lichfield, I thought I’d park up and see what this place had to offer. It’s a small offie but they pack a lot in there - a huge array of wines and spirits, floor to ceiling. Tucked away in the far left corner next to the counter is a small but excellent range of German lagers. Some I didn’t recognise so not just the usual ’big six’ Munich braus. Some seasonal Christmas specials, too. I’ve only been once but this looks encouraging and I’ll be back to see how the small range changes over time. The ale range was generally predictable - Badger, Marstons, Wells, etc - but I did see a Windsor & Eton Conqueror too (haven’t tagged that one as I can’t remember which variety it was). Encouraging and great to see such quality in an area lacking many decent offies. One to watch...
