No Longer In Business

Very cool to have this place right outside all the shopping on 10th Ave in Playa Del Carmen. Heard they might have some local craft and good wings, so heading this direction took no additional thought or consideration. Small restaurant with a slight sports bar vibe, and some army themed decor. Very friendly staff greeted us immediately. Communication was tough, but I needed no translation for the cooler packed with about 60 or so different craft beer options from Mexico alone, in addition to quite an impressive global selection. Modelo on draft, and a good bottle selection, I quickly got to work on the local craft, being my mission. A fun and unique variety of styles here. Staff had good recommendations and even helped me figure out some places to go next. They werent able to sell me any bottles to take home, as they were only for on site consumption, but they were extremely friendly and apologetic of the matter. Don't be! You've been pouring me craft beer and delicious wings for a couple hours at a super low price. Very enjoyable experience. I'll just have to come back.

This restaurant has a surprisingly large assortment of beer, although maybe not the most exciting samples. But they have som Mexican I didn´t see elsewhere, together with Budweiser, Baltika, Carlsberg and other more common. For being Playa del Carmen this is a great place to drink beer.
