62 Interesting place. Non-descript building and entrance. Interior is cozy with some booths and a small bar at the far end. Everyone knew everyone, but they welcomed me in and were very friendly. They apparently had a falling out with COOP so they no longer offer their beers. In fact, the taps were just common national craft and non-craft brands. They did have a few local beers in cans, so that kept me happy. Food was delicious, small menu, kitchen closes early, but it really hit the spot. Fun place, but not really a craft beer destination at the moment. |
62 Nice enough bar. Good patio setting. Indoors can be awfully smoky. Definitely appeals to the local college crowd, and late nights it’s basically overrun with frat guys. The service is a little slow, but knowledgeable and nice enough. Good beer selection, but nothing jaw-dropping.
On a beer note, one word of warning: this place is not for hopheads. The last time I was there, out of dozens of beers on tap and in the coolers, there was exactly one IPA (Avery IPA) available. |
70 I’ve visited this place a few times and generally have a pretty good time here. A good selection of beers on tap and in bottles. The place is generally clean, but can be smoky at times as well. I haven’t tried the food. Bartenders were friendly and helpful if you had questions. Some of the beers are overpriced compared to what you can get them for at other bars. A good place to enjoy a few beers. |
