Visited on a Saturday shortly after they opened for lunch. In a strip mall area. Really cool vibe. Lots of pig and pickle related artwork around. Fun music playing. Beer selection was decent. Only five of the six tap handles were filled, but had a great Pilsner. The food is phenomenal here. I had the Cuban Pickle Crisis with fries, and it ruled. Portions are hilariously large, but I felt compelled to finish it because of how delicious everything was, and that I had nowhere to store it should I take it with me. Great restaurant with a good beer selection.

As others have said...incredible food...absolutely worth going out of your way for...the short list of craftbeer is a bonus...but good choices. This place is not to be missed when in Phoenix...and you can always stop at another place for more craftbeer before or after.

Food is phenomenal. The fact that you can get a decent beer as well is just icing on the cake. To be honest the beer list on the smaller side, with nothing overly spectacular, however it still bears the pants off a vast majority of restaurants. Friendly and inviting. Great service. Pleasantly surprised to find the atmosphere and patrons (on a Tuesday night) to not be snooty. Certainly not an inexpensive spot, but well worth what you pay.

Located in a strip shopping centre a couple of doors down from a Hungry Howies, this pace scream Gastropub. A Gastropub is just like any other pub except with triple the decorating budget and 10 times the food pretension. They selection isn’t big but its solid. It’s definitely more of the good meal solid beer then a destination place. But it does have this neighborhood feel which is very inviting and I found the bar staff incredibly friendly which is nice to see especially on a Friday Night.

What to say about this place. It has fantastic eclectic food that is cohesively going in all directions and pushing harmony across your palate. That’s what I can say. This is a new fairly Spartan large single space layout with the open visible kitchen taking center stage. So far my visits have seen Stone IPA as the most interesting tap offering to me. I didn’t go here for the beer though. Knowing the attitude and adventure-some spirit of this place the tap offering will soon, if it hasn’t already, mirror the food menu diversity. I need to visit here far more often. I love it. Go Here!!
Made another visit, long overdue. I have to say that the staff is wonderful and friendly. They make you feel so welcome. Wow! Too bad I can only give a 10 for service but I can tick the Ambiance up from a 4 to a 5.

Absolutely LOVED this place! Really open, upscale but not pretentious, lots of organic materials used and clean lines. Open kitchen. Everything was meticulously kept and the chefs definitely were enjoying their craft. Not terribly expansive but a very thoughtful beer menu. Food was ridiculously AWESOME! Crispy yet meaty pork belly, blackened foie gras that melts like butter on the tongue, and crunchy/spicy tots added a great starch to the dish. Had an amazing strawberry cheesecake coffee cake with a goat cheese whip...wow! Definitely stop here when visiting Phoenix, you won’t be sorry!

Fun gastropub- easy to find with ample parking. Service was quick, very attentive to almost too attentive. Menu was pretty awesome with a lot of fun things to try. Everything we ordered was outstanding. Make sure ou are sharing the small plates because they are actually pretty hefty portions. Beer selection was decent, nothing out of this world. Some breweries were local and unknown to me. Others were not so special. They do a tasting flight with hefty 6 or 8oz pours in mason jar like glasses. But this was something "special" done for me as it is not the norm here. My only qualm was that the interior space is massive and tables are far apart or high up in the air giving an awkward, vulnerable dining experience rather than cozy and intimate.

Exactly the kind of place I needed to open up near my house! Don’t let the bland strip mall fool you, this place is the real deal. Great food and excellent value for what you get ($15 entrees that you would expect to pay $25 for elsewhere). Although the beer selection is limited, they choices they do have are good and well thought out. As other reviewers mentioned, I hope they start expanding their selection, especially considering their past history with AZ Wine Co.

A great restaurant and a few really good beers. Small bar area and a large restaurant area. The food here is outstanding. It’s still Scottsdale so still a bit pricey but not too bad. Good happy hour specials. The only weak point is that the beer choices are extremely limited compared to when the chefs were at Atlas Bistro and AZ Wine.
