| presario (125), Stampede City, Alberta | | March 19, 2011 Cool place found after a number of beer trips in Seattle. Two sides to the pub, one quiet and darker and the other wide open with big windows, darts, pool, foosball, shuffleboard and TVs. Lots of local beers on tap. There during a Barley Wine festival and still 8 taps serving other beers. Owner and staff are very friendly. A fun place that anyone would want nearby. | | MartinT (450), Montreal, Quebec | | March 2, 2011 Amazing beer bar in West Seattle. I have to find a way to get back here. The first room as you come in is wonderfully laid out with mismatched old furniture, lots of space, tables of different sizes, etc. You can order food in from your favorite, or bring your own lunch, a concept I find adorable. The second room is a game room with sofas around a fire place, tvs, a pool table, shuffle board, etc. Extremely comfortable wherever you are. The beer list is also impressive, with lots of local brews, strong and sessionable. Was here for their Barley Wine event and everything was very well organized, from the menus to the pours and service. All around, this is one of the best beer bars I’ve been to in the USA. | | Apchron (10), Alabama | | February 17, 2011 Lots of great beers. Rotating tap list always has something tasty. Fooooosball!! | | BuckeyeBoy (84), Boise, Idaho | | April 15, 2010 A pretty cool local West Seattle hangout. Stopped in for a couple pours. The places was nice lots of wood and a good tap list. The bottle list didn’t look half bad either. No food but a pizza place next door. I do have to say the dogs???? I think I could pass on that side of thing. they also had plenty of boards games and such. | jubilee (3), Seattle, Washington does not count - explanation | | March 2, 2010 I love BPP. They remember me even if I haven’t been in a month. Always new brew adventures to be had, always an excellent vibe. So lucky to live only 1 mile away! | kangaroo (7), Everett, Washington does not count - explanation | | February 23, 2010 Great service, many tasty beers on tap. I love that they have proper glassware for their beers. they don’t serve food but the Pizza place next door delivers there fast. Great place, wonderfully relaxing, people can bring their dogs in here. I look forward to coming back here soon. | | CheersMate (118), Fremont (Seattle), Washington | | January 3, 2010 Not a bad place. Didn’t seem like my kind of crowd, but they had a fairly nice selection. The bottle prices weren’t ridiculous either e.g. Hair of the Dog Adam Batch #67 for $8. The bartender poured that one and ended up fucking it up, but the beer was delicious. They had a solid tap list, and even had special tap that was wood-aged. Service was pretty good. Every time a beer was finished they immediately replaced it. Not close to downtown Seattle, but in a decent part of town. They don’t serve food, but they will order for you. Also, they have a nice bottle selection to choose from so you can take some brews home with you. | | carruthm (26), Seattle, Washington | | December 11, 2009 Pool, shuffleboard, a wide selection of local taps and others on bottle. Just had beers so hard to rate service. | Hops_N_Malt (3), Washington does not count - explanation | | November 24, 2009 Always a good time, always great beer and great people. Awesome way to get away from the kids and have a pint. Love that they let you order food delivery to the bar. | | bvc (38), Kenmore, Washington | | October 13, 2009 I never made it to the old location, but they did a nice job on this location. big place that is almost like two separate rooms. The first half is the bar and seating that is very neighborhood in feel. Nice old bar with about 8-10 spots to sit at. A wall with a larger walkway opens into another room that is the same size but with a pool table (maybe 2, I don’t recall now) and other games with seating around the edges. Nice draft selection that displays a good amount of WA breweries usually. Bottle list is good size with nice depth. Another things that they do is usually have a few ’seasonal’ fests throughout the year. |
