The tour guide was very enthusiastic. The tour was busy enough to keep you interested and they covered some of the history as well. Unfortunately they don’t make the greatest beer so when you come to the end you can have three drinks in the lodge (which is a tourist trap and not much else).

Located in a small town in Wisconsin, this brewery was the first that I ever toured. The tour itself was pretty interesting, as the tour guide was informative and entertaining. The tour was free, but the only drawback to it was that they only give you two samples, because they say they want you to support the local businesses. Kinda disappointing in that aspect (especially since it’s a drive from wherever you’re coming from), but worth the stop if you’re in the area.

Visited a few days ago. Really nice place. The tour was pretty informative and the guide knew all about brewing and the brewing process. A lot of people in the group asked good questions that the tour guide was able to answer. The beer was served in 7 oz. sampler glasses, but at a perfect temperature. Down sides: Only 2 samples per person and not all of the beers are available to sample.

Toured in the summer of 05. New store (Linnie’s Lodge) and tasting bar. Great service with friendly servers. Brew house was typical mid major brewer.

Don’t miss the Leinies Brewery tour if you are in Chippewa Falls for any reason. You won’t be sorry!

About 7 beers on tap, including the rare, Leinie’s Light. The Lodge is very nice, ton’s of leinie’s stuff for sale, but no beer sold at the brewery.
The tour was slick and professional, but scripted to the letter. I got the feeling that a question that wasn’t addressed in the script couldn’t be answered. It is disappointing that a brewery with German heritage, still using their original yeast, is unwilling to make German styles of beer, besides the lager and bock. Equally disappointing is a family brewery that is bought out by Miller.

good place to visit.. the tour is nice but I’ve been on it to many times having grown up in CF. I like the new lodge they just opened, much bigger, lots of gear, and free beer, all the usuals and whatever seasonals are on now.

Leinie’s offers a good tour and gives a solid batch of info regarding the brewing process. The Leinie Lodge has boat loads of souviniers as well as the taps. They tend to have their regulars and any seasonals on tap in 5 ounce glasses.
