“We visited here Friday 3rd December 2021, we parked up near the centre of town at a dedicated place for campervans (3 spaces) near the HIT supermarket. It was a 20 min walk of about 2-3 kms. It is a strange little place, there was someone stood outside having a cigarette and indicated that we needed to use the keypad on the door to enter, he told us the number combination but then Loz realised that she had left her phone at the camper, unfortunately, this had her COVID passport, so we were not able to go in. However I did go in and asked if I could take some bottles away with me, it is a small place, quite busy, but to be fair they asked for my COVID details. There was a guy playing guitar at the end of a seated area, some older guys were sat on stools at the bar, the whole vibe was definitely a locals place, however, it seemed friendly enough. The older female member of bar staff took me out the back and to a cold room to select some bottled beer, prices were very reasonable, I got a Hefe Weisse and a Helles. I am not sure that I would come back here, I have since had one of the beers, it is ok at best.“
