“A gourmet restaurant located about 10km from Alta City close to the E45 towards Kautokeino. There is a large dog farm in front of the restaurant, and the place has got a central function in Finnmarksløpet, the dog-sled race each winter. Trasti & Trine are famous for their local food and large wine cellar, but they also have their own micro brewery located in the forest just behind the dog sledding. I bought a wheat ale, a bayer and an ipa visiting the place in late May 2022. Friendly service and good food, but expensive beers.“

“It is a 20 minutes drive from downtown Alta to Sorrisniva. During the winter season this place is most famous for the Ice Hotel (Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel). But, there is also a restaurant in the summer and in late 2021 a new wing with more than 20 hotel rooms will open. I was told that brewey expansion was also planned. Today they only brew one beer; a pilsner brewed at the kitchen in the resturant. Seems like I have to revist in near future? At my visit their own beer was not in the fridge. I may felt a minor heart attack? Luckily, the service minded barman managed to find a bottle in the storage room next door. They were waiting for the labels to arrive. I was more than happy to enjoy a fresh bottle without label! Nice view to Altaelva, a world famous salmon river. Also several slate quarries nearby if you are interested. Great stay! “Decent selection but no surprises. No beers from the July release? Attentive service, but no new beers for me. In the same shopping center as Bunnpris grocery store, Amfi Alta. (Visited July 17th 2020)“

“The best grocery store in Alta if you are looking for a decent beer selection. Inside the shopping center "Amfi Alta" I found two new beers from Graff, home brew winner recipes from a former beer festival in Hammerfest. Otherwise, good seletion from well known breweries all around Norway. (Visited July 17th 2020)“
