68 /100 Georgia St. Taphouse (Bar) 2001 S GEORGIA ST. Large bar with tv screens wrapped around all walls showing football crap, fortunately the volume was reasonable; 72 beers on tap - TX micros, as well as nationals and macros, plus few Mexican macros. Waitress didn’t know what a beer flight was and was trying to bring me a Yuengling Flight, but after some discussion I was able to obtain a tray of samples. I had a tasty if simple burger. Other than having to endure screams of football zombies it was a good place to try some interesting beers. Sample glasses were $1.50 to $3.50 so it is a decent value. Good WiFi. |
84 /100 Georgia St. Taphouse (Bar) 2001 S GEORGIA ST. Had dinner here tonight as we are passing through Texas on way to NY after winter in Arizona. I tried a nice flight of beers at good Happy hour prices! We had regular bar sandwiches. They play great classic rock. Great attentive waitress. |
