“Wood fired pizzas baked outside ...you can sit either in or out , and enjoy a great range of tap beers , which change a little by the season ... some original beers persist , as they should ... whether on a hot nor west summer's day , or a gnarly cold winter's afternoon , the Brewmoon is a fantastic place to chill out & relax .“

“Really love this place, perfect for stopping on the way back from hiking in the north. Pizzas are amazing (honestly, last week special pizza, fish and green curry, may be the best pizza I've ever had in my life... You should keep it !!), staff usually nice, and even if over 10 months of regular stop I've been a bit disappointed by the few new beers they had, it's always good quality beers, hoppy when they need to be, original when they can.“

“Found this place by accident, driving from Springfield to Kaikoura and....hey what’s that? Sunday afternoon, a few punters. Excellent chatty staff, nice selection of their beers (on tap and in cans). We even got a tour of the brewery! Really glad we stopped.“

“Beautiful little place, right on the hihway north of CHCH. A handful of outdoor tables if the weather is nice, a nice sized beer garden if the weather is iffy, and inside tables if the weather is ncooperative. Four beers on tap available in tasters, plus a couple of bottles, all very tasty. Baked goods, coffee, and pizzas as well. Head brewer ( a woman, yay! Belinda) busy toling away in the attached bwery. A nice stop while in the area.“

“A nice wee brew/cafe/restaurant a stones throw from Christchurch and well worth stopping at if only to avoid where the masses stop along the way. The lower mark on selection is only because they sell their own beer, which I think is absolutely laudable. Excellent food, service and tasty beer. A place I’m happy to bring visitors to.“

“Like a country pub that does its own brewing, short drive from Christchurch. Food is tasty and the portions are hearty. Staff were very friendly and could chat about the beer. Tasting trays are great value.“

“There’s a lot to like about this simple road-side cafe just 30 minutes north of Christchurch. Serves a nice range of burgers, gourmet pizza and salads. All 4 house beers on tap. Nothing flash in terms of ambience and fit-out but it sure works for me. Tastign tray $8.80 otherwise ~$4 for a 350ml serve.“

“Very cool place, huge dining room with an attached outdoor courtyard. Nice looking menu, although we didn’t really have time to eat. Lots of external seating. Not really a pub, more of a country-inn restaurant sort of vibe, but it’s still a decent place to kill a few pints on the way to Kaikoura.“
