| 56 /100 BORDA CALISSA, EL MAS DE RIBAFETA “Small cozy bar up the hill 10 km from La Vella. Address and opening times on Ratebeer not correct. Brewery is Mas de Ribafeta in Arinsal. On facebook opening times was confirmed to 11-14 but on arrival there was closed. But Tony appeared form the garden and opende and invited into the garden (thats were the keg was, not in the pub!) for a tasting of the only beer availeble that day. Found to more of his beers later that evevning in a large department store in Andorra La Vella.“ |

Small taproom where they own beers were available. Nice chat with the owner. Very friendly place with a good landscape. Unfortunately beers are not so good.“ |

| 60 /100 The Derby Irish Pub (Bar) CARRETERA GENERAL 17 “A fun bar, not a craft beer retreat. The Derby is an Irish style bar in the tiny hamlet of Arinsal high up in the principality of Andorra. I was here in the summertime, when the tourists are less British/Irish and more of the rambling, hill climbing and Norwegian co-workers on a "let’s see a new country trip". Norwegians don’t really frequent these parts, so we did get a lot of raised eyebrows, but the owners of this place had Scandinavian connections, so no bother. This is a bar for after ski parties, in a quite British/Irish style, with sports on flat screens (Rugby and soccer) and a real party atmosphere. On tap there are industrial lagers, and a couple of mild’s. But remember, you are high up in the mountains of Andorra! That should compensate for the lack of Trappist beers or California hop bombs!“ |
